About Me
About
Back in high school, I had a skilled sports massage therapist who inspired me to pursue bodywork in college. I participated in running events such as the 800m, 400m, and 5k, feeling inadequate in speed. Transitioning to triathlons for 13 years as an ambitious amateur, I faced various injuries like stress fractures, tears, stenosis, neck surgery and tendonitis. Despite these setbacks, I empathize with the frustration of not being able to do what you enjoy due to injuries. Presently, at 41, I aim to surpass my high school 400m record with recent 100m, 200m, and 400m timings. I've experienced personal transformations and aim to assist others in overcoming pain, drawing from my background as an athlete, musician, and bodyworker.

I’ve spent the last 20 years of my life helping people move better, feel better, and ultimately live better. I’m passionate about the mind-body connection and the role our bodies play in our mental health and overall well-being. My journey in bodywork began two decades ago, but it’s evolved into a much deeper mission—helping people not just recover from pain but take control of their bodies and health.
A Journey of Discovery
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with world-class athletes, Olympians, and everyday people looking to feel their best. I’m a 5-time All-American triathlete, and I’ve completed hundreds of races, including four full Ironmans and countless other events. But despite all these accomplishments, there came a point when my body began to break down. I wasn’t doing the work I needed to take care of myself, and it all caught up to me with the worst injury of all—stenosis in my neck.
I went through surgery, but it didn’t work. The pain, the immobility, and the frustration that followed forced me to reevaluate everything I thought I knew about the body. It wasn’t just about treating symptoms anymore; I had to dig deeper to truly understand how to heal.
Grief and Resilience: The Deeper Connection
The physical pain I experienced was challenging, but it also connected to something deeper—grief and trauma. In high school, I lost both my father and my brother to suicide. This profound loss shaped my understanding of the intricate connection between our minds and bodies. Our bodies hold onto trauma, and for years, mine did too.
Returning to track and field, the sport I was most passionate about before those losses, became part of my healing journey. It helped me rediscover not only my love for sprinting but also the deep connection between movement and mental well-being. I realized that healing trauma requires not only emotional work but physical work too.
Fascia, Strength, and Mobility: The Obsession
Through this journey, I’ve become obsessed with fascia, strength, and mobility. I’ve come to understand how interconnected everything is in our bodies and how essential it is to move well, be strong, and take care of our fascia. I’ve also seen firsthand how these elements play a role in the mental health crisis we face today.
Having a body that doesn’t hurt will make you feel better. Feeling better will make you feel younger. And when you feel younger, you’ll look younger—because you are. This is the philosophy that drives everything I do now, and it’s what I want for every person I work with.
Leadership by Example
I believe in leading by example. At 41 years old, I’m running as fast as I did in high school, and I’m doing it injury-free. I’m currently training to run under 11 seconds in the 100m, under 22 in the 200m, and under 50 in the 400m. These goals are part of my continued pursuit of understanding the body and unlocking its full potential.
I embody everything I want my clients to experience. I’ve become obsessed with solving the riddles of the body—how pain manifests, how mobility affects our emotions, and how strength ties everything together.
Innovative Health Entrepreneurship
In 2011, I started the world’s first walk-in sports recovery club, where hundreds of members came to treat themselves and learn how to heal their own issues. This wasn’t just a business; it was a movement to empower people to take control of their health. I later founded a direct-to-consumer blood testing company, giving people access to their biomarkers so they could optimize their own health.
I’ve always believed in the principle of “physician, heal thyself,” and I’m passionate about helping others take charge of their well-being.
The Path Forward
Everything I’ve learned—from my experience as an athlete, a bodyworker, and an entrepreneur—has shaped the services I offer today. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, looking to improve your mobility, or wanting to understand how your body and mind are connected, I’m here to guide you on that journey.
If you’re ready to take control of your health, improve your movement, and feel younger, let’s get started.
The ASRC, Back in 2010
After a few years as a sports massage therapist, I launched the first-ever walk-in sports recovery club of its kind and quickly grew to hundreds of members. There are many similar concepts in other places now. This was an incredible experience for me; as you’ll see in the video, we all got to work with world-class products, athletes and practitioners. Sadly, I closed it in 2014, I miss the ASRC, but I prefer to work one-on-one with clients. I’ve carried those valuable skills forward to today.
